If everyone had an encyclopedia in their brain

May 21, 2009 in Education

My idea is that some day we will be able to download all the knowledge of the earth into our minds, that way we won’t need to spend so many years studying at school or university to learn everything. People would need to update this information daily or monthly, depending on the use they make out of it.

So how would we distinguish each other if we all have the same knowledge?

First of all, we are different by the way we are raised, relationships, experiences we live and encounters we make. This forms our personality which then has an impact on the decisions we take. Therefore, two employees in the same company who would have the same knowledge would still not take the same decisions, because it would be based on the risk each of themĀ  would be willing to take.

Also, there will still be different opinions with regards to things in life. Everything does not resume itself to facts in this world. In an absolute way, we all have access to all the information and knowledge we want, it’s just that we are not connected 24/7 to Internet! With this new process, we’d be able to google any information we want at any time of the day!
