Hip Hop Club

September 13, 2009 in Entertainment

Everybody loves hip hop, it’s commercial, it makes you dance and feel happy. Everytime you’re in a club and the DJ starts playing a 50 cent song you can see the customers go nuts.

I think the reason why there is so few hiphop dedicated clubs is that this music is tightly associated with a minority of very agressive dudes.

What if you had an asshole bouncer that would only let well targeted customers in? No sneakers, no groups of guys.

And look, we all know what the rap culture is about: making it rain! I’m pretty convinced that people would be under sub-concious influence of the lyrics and spend more money.

  1. I don’t know, clubs already organize hip hip parties every week, and the club is always full oin these parties with or without the groups of bad guys.

  2. I am not sure this would work because hip hop songs target guys more than girls (we’re more into commercial songs :) )
But I do agree that there should be places dedicated to hip hop music, like bars for example.

  3. man guys this exists already but I hear what you mean by making a luxury hiphop club, but this might be difficult cause it will be hard to satisfy everyone.

  4. dont all clubs struggle to satisfy everyone? thats the point in hiring good djs, making prices ‘reasonable’, decorating the club well, etc. u need to somehow get a crowd of regulars who will tell their friends to come, cos this works better than promoters who will take anyone for commission..
there are plenty of rich hip hop fans, u just need to make different nights for different types of hip hop..
